This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Jacqueline Griffith who was born in Arkansas on January 05, 1942 and passed away on January 14, 2006 at the age of 64. We will remember her forever. She Was called to the lord after suffering a stroke on January 9, 2006. She was a great mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew her. She will be greatly missed. Our worlds will not be complete without her. My mother was a very strong willed woman who faught to her dying breathe, I know she is with the angels now where she belongs. On 10-16-06 , my mother called for my sister to come with her to heaven. My sister was 36 years old and mommy didnt want to be there by herself anymore. Mommy I know you are taking care of eachother now. We all love and miss you both so very much . I know my mother and sister are smiling down on all of us now, the loss of my sister was a tragic loss to the family but we are getting through it. We love and miss you !!! Take care of eachother for us . Love you daughter sharon lynn
How can I explain what my mom means to me?
What words can I use to explain?
A woman who was the best mom she could be
Trying to shield me from pain.
But the pain I have now, she can't really heal
For it's the pain of not having her here.
But all of the memories and love that I feel
In my heart she will always be near.
My mom was a woman who loved her life so
She fought so hard to stay with us all.
But God called her home and she had to go
It was her time to answer God's call.
I miss her and love her with all of my heart
And I know what she meant to me.
For all of my life she was a big part
And my mom she always will be.
we all miss you alot and wish you were here.
A Letter To My Family
To my dearest family, some things I’d like to say,
first of all to let you know, I arrived here okay.
I'm writing this from heaven,
here I dwell with God above,
Here there's no more tears of sadness,
here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy, just because I'm out of sight
Remember that I am with you morning,
noon and night.
That day I had to leave you,
when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me,
he said 'I welcome you'
'It’s good to have you back again,
you were missed while you were gone
As for your dearest family,
they'll be here later on'
'I need you here so badly, you are apart of my plan
there is so much we can do, to help our mortal man'
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do And foremost on the list,
was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night,
the days chores put to flight
God and I are close to you... in the middle of the night
When you think of my life on earth,
and all of those loving years
Because you are only human,
they are bound to bring you tears.
Do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain
Remember there would be no flowers,
unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you, all what God had planned
If I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain,
though my life on earth is through
More then ever before, I'm so much closer to you
There are rocky roads ahead of you
and many hills to climb
But together we can do it, by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too
That as you give into the world,
the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody, who is in sorrow and pain
Then you can say to God at night....
'My day was not in vain'
And now I am contented... that my life was worthwhile
Knowing as I passed along the way,
I made somebody smile
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low
Just lend a hand to pick them up,
as on your way you go
When you're walking down the street
and you've got me on your mind
I'm walking in your footsteps, only half a step behind
And when its time for you to go.....
From that body to be free
Remember you are not going.....
You're coming here to me.
Until we are together again
Love and miss you all.
